Lamaholot Shoulder Cloth from Lembata
The Lamaholot people (people of Solor, Lembata and Adonara) produced amazing high quality naturally dyed textiles and are famous for their subtle earthy colours. A lot of their textiles are made from hand-spun cotton, and with top class quality. The Lamaholot people are located in the Lesser Sunda Islands, the eastern side of Flores. This shoulder cloth is made from hand spun cotton, dyed using morinda root, and decorated with small shells.
